They left us outside at midnight in the dark, on the outskirts of Brest, where there are no streetlights. Finding somewhere else was hard. We’d been told we couldn’t share a bed with our three- and five-year-old children, and they wanted us to pay extra, nearly the price of a more expensive room. The children can’t sleep alone somewhere unfamiliar. We also didn’t ask for the included breakfast since they only eat the porridge we’d brought.

A really pleasant place to stay. It’s spotless, with bright white linens, and everything feels cozy, neat, and carefully thought through. The hosts are warm and welcoming, with a thoughtful manner. I recommend these lovely apartments.
