I was there for two nights on a business trip. The rooms were clean, the hotel was in good shape, and the staff were welcoming and nice. Breakfast disappointed me a bit, with fewer choices than at other hotels I've stayed in for less money. The bigger issue was noise. When someone shut a door, the walls and beds shook like there was an earthquake, and conversations in the corridor came through clearly. I slept badly and felt tired the next morning, which made it harder to rest and be ready for work the next day. Don't expect a "Hilton" quality standard.

Slept really well, and breakfast was wonderful :) Happy customer, that's all!

Really nice hotel in a great spot, and the staff are super friendly. My only complaint is the room temperature: the thermostat won't go below 21°, which felt too warm for me. On sunny days it's worse, since the thermostat is at the back while sunlight heats the front of the room.

After spending 18 hours at the belorus border, this was a very easy place to get into, even if it isn't ideal. The hotel was really nice and the service and breakfast were great. The espresso was only second-rate.

My visit to Brest-on-the-Bug meant a great deal to me. My mother lived there before the Second World War, and I finally got to stand in her hometown, though only after she had passed away. Brześć was part of Poland before the war, a lively center of culture, education, and trade in the Eastern Borderlands known as the Kresy. What we saw today felt like a grim, neglected shadow of that city. The old Polish character seemed painfully absent: no visible Polish signs, restored cemeteries, or monuments to our history. The landscape felt lifeless and silent, its cultural richness buried beneath foreign rule. After World War II, the decisions at Yalta and Tehran betrayed Poland. These lands were torn from the Polish state and handed to Soviet occupation. Polish people were deported or forced to flee, their culture suppressed, and centuries of heritage systematically erased. Now part of Belarus, Brześć still bears the legacy of Soviet rule, with political repression, historical amnesia, and cultural decay. Still, I feel something remains beneath the surface. Brześć nad Bugiem lives in the hearts of those who remember and in the stories passed down by parents and grandparents. It is both a wound and a reminder of what was taken, and of what we must not forget. Patriotism means honoring the past and defending the truth: Brześć was, is, and always will be part of Poland's cultural and historical legacy. We have a duty to remember, speak out, and preserve that truth for future generations. Perhaps one day these lands will return, spiritually if not politically, to the family of Polish memory and identity.
