The best parts were the wooden-house feel, the nice smell of the wood, and a comfortable bed. We also had a shower set and kettle in the room. The waiters were polite, and the kitchen served us a tasty late meal, though those are really positives about the bar, not the motel. The manager was reasonable, too. After the receptionist first refused our request for a small discount, she spoke with him and told us we'd get one if the internet wasn't fixed. That's one reason I gave it three stars instead of one or two. We came with suitcases while there was a wake for someone else, and had an awkward wait for the keys. The waiters seem to handle everything, even while busy at the bar. The room had no internet, despite it being promised in the description, and my husband needed it for work. We ended up working at the bar while waiting for the receptionist to explain what was going on. She showed up nearly two hours later and immediately scolded us for sitting there instead of going to our room. She said, “People come to us to relax, not to work.” She called an internet repairman, but couldn't promise he'd come that day. There were dead insects in the room. One mosquito was right on the sink in plain sight, and there were others on the windowsill behind the curtain. The heating was off, and we were told a heater wasn't allowed because of fire risk. I didn't dare shower, figuring I'd get sick getting out. The repairman did come and the internet started working a little. The receptionist apologized to my husband and brought warmer blankets, but we still slept in our clothes to keep warm. The place is pretty inexpensive compared with some hotels, but up to 4,000 rubles a night still feels like a lot for this level of service. If you value your peace of mind, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Tourists paying for a room should get decent service.

We stayed again overnight on June 8-9, and had what we needed. The bar waiters got our orders ready quickly. I just wish there'd been an electric kettle in the room for tea. Bring your own toiletries, too, since the bathroom only had liquid soap. The parking was a sour note. After we parked, a man told us to leave because someone else was expected. They need to sort that out. Otherwise, the nature, birds, and quiet away from the city bustle were lovely. I'd recommend it 😎

The grounds are lovely, and being a little out of town made it peaceful. There's private parking, and the staff were helpful. When we asked for a hairdryer, they sorted it out within half an hour. I'll be back to Brest and would stay here again. We spent four days here over New Year's, arriving before the holiday and checking in in the middle of the night. The price was reasonable. The owner kindly found us a table in the bar to celebrate 2020 even though all the seats had been taken long before. There was a New Year's program, and we ended up watching Putin's performance at midnight. The food was good, and they let us take it to our room when we'd had enough of the noise. The log cabins had toiletries, toothpaste, toothbrushes, gels, and soap. The bed was big and the room was warm, with an extra heater added in winter. The TV only had a couple of channels. My one real gripe was the bathtub: water got through the curtains onto the floor, which was so wet we wore rubber slippers even to use the toilet. Otherwise, I really liked the place.

You can borrow a grill from the staff for free or bring your own. The grounds are pretty and green, with chain swings and hammock-style swings, and there's a cafe/bar on site. Breakfast can be ordered, and the website lists it at 8 rubles. Disposable slippers are provided. I found no insects in the room. The rooms are warm, with heated floors, including in the bathroom. The furniture has a simple, stylish rustic izba look. Staff were polite and eager to help, and you can take a kettle from the bar. For the budget price, I'd say it's a decent place, but I can't give it five stars. We paid 110 rubles for two people for two nights, even though the booking price had been 106. It's a small difference, but I don't know why it changed. We also had no soundproofing at all. You can hear the neighbors watching TV, talking, practically everything. Keep that in mind if you sleep lightly or want privacy, though you may get lucky and have no one on the other side of the wall. The room was clean in most places, including the floor, shelves, headboard, sink, and toilet. I thought the shower stall could've been cleaned better, though we didn't ask for extra cleaning. The walls and bear skin over the bed were dusty, and the fur didn't look washed. I wasn't keen on touching them. The bedside lamp didn't work, either. We had to wait 20 minutes at check-in because the room wasn't ready. When we booked, we spent ages trying to find where to specify that my husband and I wanted one bed rather than two separate beds in the corners. It apparently wasn't visible, so they had prepared the room with two beds and had to get the right one ready. The receptionists apologized and invited us to sit in the cafe. Everyone was polite and the wait wasn't long. Getting into town was inconvenient. Bus 20 is meant to go to the center every 20 minutes. Around 5 PM, one drove past while the driver gestured that there were no seats. We didn't want to wait for another with no guarantee we'd get on, so we called an Uber for 6 rubles. It's 7-8 km to walk from the motel. The rooms come with individually wrapped toothbrushes, a small toothpaste tube, disposable shower gel, a bar of soap per guest, and disposable slippers. There was also a large bottle of shower gel that wasn't new, which seemed normal. For the price, this is a pretty good stay, but there are still too many downsides for a five-star rating.
