The location worked really well for us. The train and bus station are a 10-minute walk or 3-minute taxi ride away, and the sights are all walkable. Pedestrian Street and the Street of Lanterns are five minutes off, Brest Fortress 15. Cafes and restaurants are plentiful, and there's good coffee on Gogolya Street near the stadium entrance. Parking can be tricky in daytime, though there are lots of free spaces by evening. Check-in was contactless, with the details sent through WhatsApp. Payment is in Belarusian rubles, so bear that in mind. Smoking isn't allowed. The apartment matched the photos and description, and was very clean and tidy. The interior is pleasant and thoughtfully arranged, with information about sights and routes available. The windows look out at the ancient church and the city's central square. In the separate bedroom there's a comfortable double bed with a medium-firm mattress, and a well-placed fan helps keep things cool in hot weather. The kids found the living room's double sofa bed comfortable too. The kitchen has the utensils you need, a fridge, and a stove. There's also a washing machine in the combined bathroom. Hot water comes from a private gas boiler, so it takes a little getting used to: turn it on, let the water cool, then add cold water to reach the temperature you want. We had no problems with it.
