Base of Otdykha Checheli

We keep coming back to Checheli, and the fishing is one reason. You can swim too, though the bottom is muddy. The grounds have a children's play area, gazebos, benches, and a hammock, plus everything needed for shashlik, including a barbecue, grates, and firewood. Rooms have good Wi-Fi, and the bathrooms are roomy, very clean, and stocked with what you need. You can choose set meals or cook for yourself in the mini kitchen in each room. The nature is gorgeous, the rooms are good, and the staff are friendly and attentive. It's a comfortable place to holiday, and we'll definitely return again. Thanks for the stay!

We had a spacious studio apartment with a kitchen, though no stove, a large bathroom, and a balcony. It worked well as a second room on summer evenings, once our youngest was asleep, my older child and I would sit out there. The hotel is quiet and well kept, with a little playground and garden swings for kids. Staff were very welcoming, and the rooms have Wi-Fi and pleasant interiors, though some updating would help. There's a pine forest and a lake with a sandy beach just a few minutes away, and there are different ways to spend an interesting vacation.

The New Year's Eve party was on the third floor, in the banquet hall, with entertainers and live music going until the early hours. The food selection was broad, and on January 1st they held outdoor festivities with fish soup, shashlik, pancakes, and competitions for adults and kids. There's a program every day, plus excursions around Glubokoye. We stayed December 31, 2019, to January 4, 2020, in junior suite room 6 on the second floor. It was spacious, warm, cozy, and had what we needed. Outside, the grounds were well cared for, with beach and lake access, lots of pine trees, and lovely fresh air. We had a great holiday.

The place sits among pine trees between two beautiful lakes, and the charming town of Glubokoe, almost European in feel, is nearby and worth a visit. We had quick, courteous responses to every request, with warm, unobtrusive service. A great spot for relaxing with children, in summer or winter.
