The location right on the border is the hotel's one clear advantage. We stayed in an annex rather than the main building, and it felt like a backwater dorm. The rooms were dirty, with plaster residue from the original building still visible, and you could hear almost everything because there was practically no soundproofing. There were huge gaps around the room door. The bathroom door opened inward, making it extremely hard to get in and out, and the shower was downright unpleasant.

We never made it to the hotel. There was no information about how to get there, and GPS sent us to the border crossing. We only learned from reviews, while waiting at the checkpoint, that access was through the logistics center. After three hours in line and moving just 25 meters, we didn't feel like paying a hotel that had treated its guests this way. It's near the border, but that route should have been explained.

A nice overnight stay for a very reasonable price. One thing to watch: the cafe on site shuts at 8:00 PM, which matters if you're arriving in the evening. There's a gas station 500 meters away where you can buy prepared food, and the hotel has a microwave to heat it up.

The cafe food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our sheets and towels were clean, there was hot water, and we had Wi-Fi and a TV in the living room. We were very satisfied with everything!!!
