Drive Hotel

It's quiet and away from the city noise, and the place is clean and secure. Rooms differ, but all are tidy. The shared shower and toilet didn't bother me much. I enjoyed trying products from the Neman tobacco factory. You can get inexpensive coffee and snacks, and there are water coolers in the hallway.

The place was neat and clean, the staff friendly, and the price was good. The location is the downside: it's shared with the company's gatehouse, so trucks rumble past constantly, even before 8 a.m. They also skimp on basics. The shower room had no bar soap or shampoo, and the room only had a mug for utensils.

For $12, it's okay for one stay, but I wouldn't make a habit of it. The place is inexpensive, has friendly staff and security at the entrance, supposedly a tobacco factory base. But there's no shower in the room, the mattress sags, and at 5:00 a.m. the trucks leaving the tobacco factory roar and break the silence.

A cozy, very clean place with attentive and responsive staff, and the price is reasonable. For an en-suite bathroom, book that type of room ahead of time, especially if you don't want to go down from the second floor to the first. The photos and descriptions match the hotel.
