U Grushi Apart-Hotel

If you enjoy a cultural atmosphere, this is a great place to stay. It’s right in the city center, and the coffee shop restaurant downstairs is very good too. I highly recommend it and will come back next time.

The staff in both the cafe and hotel were sooooo polite and helpful, and they really know the service industry inside out. The food is fantastic, and you might even get an accidental compliment from the bartender. I absolutely loved staying here. Definitely a must for a stay and a meal in Grodno!

There was nobody in the cafe, and after this experience, I can see why. Five of us arrived while the manager and waiter were smoking by the entrance. We went in and waited for them to finish. The manager then said they only serve groups of five or more by pre-order, told us to split into groups of two and three, and turned us away. When we asked if they were refusing to serve us, the answer was, “Yes, that’s our rule.” Management should look at how these employees are “working” at work. They’ll probably keep having an empty place if they send customers away. All the positive reviews and recommendations I’d heard about visiting are gone for me now. Such a shame.

It’s a historic building right in the city center, next to the main pedestrian street, so the location is very convenient. The rooms are clean, tidy, and welcoming, with tea, coffee, dishes, and toiletries provided. But the beds are uncomfortable, and the soundproofing is nonexistent. Trying to sleep felt like being outside, and I didn’t manage it successfully.
