Hotel Suvorov

The building has a washing machine for guests staying more than one day. There's also a restaurant for lunch and dinner on weekends, plus a karaoke club if you want to relax. The location is handy, just a five-minute walk from the bus station, and the main sights, parks, shops, and cafes are all walkable, so there's no need to haul bags across town or call a taxi. My room at Suvorov Hotel in Kobrin was bright, cozy, and spotless. Everything seemed well cared for, from the modern furniture and comfortable bed to the fresh linens, working TV, steady Wi-Fi, towels, and toiletries. It was a memorable stay, and I'd happily come back. Thanks for making it so comfortable.

The room had a kettle, microwave, little fridge, and dishes, along with tea, coffee, sugar, and salt. There was a TV and adjustable lighting too. Shampoo, a hairdryer, and a towel were provided in the bathroom.

We arrived at 2 AM and found nobody at the hotel. The phone number we had been given was unreachable, and nobody called us back, so we had no place to stay despite our reservation. Earlier, we'd booked a room and received an email confirming it. On the day we arrived, we were told to call Svetlana two hours ahead. She said we'd be put in an apartment instead of a hotel room, at the same price, and that it had been renovated, so we agreed. They said they'd text check-in instructions, but no SMS ever came. I can't recommend this. We were adults and managed to find somewhere else, but with children in summer, when places are hard to find, this could have been a real problem. Two stars. The name Suvorov doesn't live up to it.

The price is low, so it can work if saving money is the priority, but I wouldn't stay again. It feels like a throwback to Soviet times: old furniture, TV, linens, and towels, though things seemed more or less clean. The staff weren't friendly, and the parking isn't guarded, even though nothing happened to our car overnight. The restaurant has no high chairs, and the restroom had a mild sewage smell. For the same price or a little more, Gorizont Hotel in Rzeszów, Poland, by the highway is excellent. I'd recommend it to anyone passing through that area.
