Nice place.
At about 50 rubles per room, it’s an inexpensive place I’d recommend. The room was quiet, check-in was quick, and the bathroom was spacious. The rooms are large too, with what they call a single bed actually being a double. It’s centrally located near the train station. One downside is that there are no spoons, forks, or plates, though that’s common in almost all Belorussian hotels. They provide one shower gel for the day, so you have to ask for more. There’s no cafe, restaurant, or shawarma place on the premises.
For 44 Belarusian rubles a night, I expected better. The internet didn’t work, the glasses were dirty, and the refrigerator hummed like a tractor. There was no kettle, and the only microwave was on the first floor. The shower was mediocre, with no way to adjust the hot and cold water, so it was always hot. I stayed two nights in January 2020 on the third floor. The room was neat, though, and the staff were friendly, which earns it two stars.
I’d call this more of a summer hotel. In December, with it slightly frosty outside, the rooms on the fifth floor were freezing. Luckily there was an extra blanket in the room, and I was glad to have it. A room costs about 50 rubles per night.
