A clean, dependable spot with what you need for a night in Magilev.

The conditions were pleasant and the room was perfectly decent. The location is the letdown, way out at the edge of town, more like a roadside motel. They also never left the receipt they promised, even though I asked for it.

The receptionist was the best part of my stay. She was so warm and helpful, and that personal kindness outweighed the hotel's shortcomings. I hope more people in this business are like her. She has been working in the cold and still makes guests feel welcome. Please get her a proper modern phone that can run Viber and WhatsApp. It's 2023, and she's still using a button phone. My biggest issue was how cold the room got. It was -2°C at night during my stay, and there was no heating. I know that's not the hotel's fault, but I wouldn't stay there again in the off-season for that reason. It would probably be much nicer in summer or during the heating season. The hotel is in a quiet area. My room was simple and neat, with clean bathroom fixtures. It came with a hairdryer, two towels, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and shampoo, but no slippers. There was also a fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, cutlery, mugs, and plates. A hot and cold water cooler stood nearby, and there's a microwave somewhere in the hotel. A few paintings helped make up for the rather unwelcoming wall paint. I booked a single room but got a comfortable double bed. The light was dim, the sockets weren't placed conveniently, though an extension cord was available, and the curtains didn't fully close. There was no shelf in the shower. There's no cafe or food available at the hotel. The receptionist suggested delivery, which was really tasty, though it took about an hour. There's a shop nearby.

We came to Mogilev unexpectedly on August 6th, two adults and our seven-year-old, and needed somewhere affordable to sleep. We booked an economy room with two single beds, and our child stayed free. The room was much better than we expected. It was clean, recently renovated, and had a stylish feel, without the USSR look of another hotel we'd checked out. The linens were fresh, the mattresses comfortable, and the little touches made it feel nice. There was a TV, fridge, optional kettle, and all the furniture we needed. The bathroom had also been newly renovated, with clean fixtures that were pleasant to use. It's a small hotel, with a tidy courtyard, benches, and a table for relaxing in summer. There's a water cooler and microwave too. The receptionist was kind and helpful, and offered extra blankets and pillows. We'd recommend it, and if we're back in Mogilev, we know where to stay comfortably.
