Usadba Mshanka House

We loved how quiet it was, with forest all around. The house was clean, warm, and comfortable even with small children. Mshanka is definitely somewhere we'll return to. Thanks to the hosts for giving us a chance to recharge and enjoy such beautiful surroundings.

The host, Alexander, was friendly and helpful, answering all our questions. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay, though guests should be told in advance that the property is under video surveillance. The estate is 11 km, or about a 17-minute drive, from the entrance to Belovezhskaya Pushcha, in a quiet spot. Its grounds are spacious and well kept, with a mown lawn, a house, gazebo, outbuildings, and a small pond. The house has a complete kitchen with a gas stove and oven, microwave, large fridge, utensils, and dishes. There are two beds and a sofa in the bedroom, plus a bathroom with a tub and washing machine. It has plumbing and heating, internet, a TV with a set-top box, and a radio. There are also books, including children's books, toys, and coloring books. The gazebo has a table and chairs, barbecue area, firewood, skewers, and grills. Bringing your own skewers is probably best, though we forgot ours and the supplied ones saved us. Kids can play in the sand, and there's room to run around. Fishing rods can be rented for 20 BYN to try the pond, but we didn't catch anything.

We stayed in winter, and the house was warm, cozy, and comfortable. It's a beautiful, peaceful spot well away from the highway. Thanks to the hosts, we'd love to come back.

The scenery is beautiful, and the little house was cozy and neat. The outdoor gazebo was especially good. We'll definitely come back.
