The treatment building was renovated, the equipment is modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in room 48 in building 2, which was decent and had nearly everything I needed. In summer, you might miss having air conditioning. The disposable supplies were limited to a bar of soap, slippers, shampoo, and toothbrushes, though even hotels in Nizhny St. Petersburg costing 6,000-7,000 rubles a night don't always provide these. I booked a seven-day package from April 12th to 19th and stayed in a single room. Check-in is at 12:00, and I arrived at 12:30. Check-out is by 10:00. After reception, where I only had to pay the 25-ruble resort fee since the package was prepaid, I saw a nurse and then a doctor, who prescribed treatments and a diet. I'd booked massage and laser therapy for my lower back, plus carboxytherapy for my head. At the treatment building they set the appointment days and times. Because I arrived Friday, about 90% of my treatments didn't start until Monday. Keep in mind that treatments run Monday through Friday. Meals are served three times a day. There's no marbled beef burger or black spaghetti with shrimp, but the menu is varied and satisfying. The grounds have two residential buildings, the treatment building, and a cafeteria building with a café and club. There's also a sauna, equipment for rent, and access to the lake for a walk or a sit on the swing out front. Parking is included in the admission price, and you can enter or leave from 6 a.m. to midnight, which is great. For the money, it's a great deal. My small complaints are the room supplies and the points above, plus it'd be useful to have a channel, maybe on Telegram, for news and information. Could residents arrange activities together? If you're there alone, finding someone for table tennis or badminton might mean looking at mealtimes, and volleyball or football would be even harder.

I stayed on the ground floor of the second building, in a cozy, clean room with a balcony. The resort itself is peaceful, with tidy grounds and a lovely clean lake. There are lots of medical treatments, tasty food, and friendly staff. It's between two large villages, each 10 km away, and you can walk to them along the lakeshore. Bikes are available to rent. The small village of Nanosy is 5 km away, with a stable and a recreated Belarusian village, plus a samovar museum, a bread museum with a real mill, and a moonshine museum.

The food was delicious, low in fat, full of vegetables, and well balanced. Staff were very friendly during treatments, and the forest is lovely for walks. I also wish the rooms had a little cosmetic work, since there are scuffs, stains, and peeling. Still, I personally liked everything, and it's a wonderful holiday for the price. Most guests are pensioners, and entertainment is mainly paid concerts and films. Don't listen to people shouting about the Soviet era, they've simply come to the wrong place. Priozerny is a good choice for anyone with high expectations.

I love the Zhuravushka Sanatorium. It's such a lovely place to unwind, quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views that stay with you.
