The place is okay if all you need is somewhere basic to sleep, but the gap between the Booking.com listing and what we found, along with the way guests are treated, is hard to ignore. The house is beside the lake, but there aren't any beaches. The shared kitchen dishes were a dirty, mismatched lot, so I had to wash them before I could make coffee. The soundproofing was awful, the owner kept his things in the room dresser, and there was no air conditioning or room TV despite those being listed on Booking. After I left a poor review on Booking.com, the owner of the agritourism retreat asked me to explain the problems. I did, then got a call from a Belarusian number. The host sounded grouchy and asked what had gone wrong all over again. When I explained, he said, "Don't come again, you fucking Muscovites." Quite a customer-focused way to handle feedback.

The banya was lovely, and we really enjoyed it. My wife and I went while staying at this farmstead. It felt cozy, and we were left in peace.

We had a fantastic time fishing, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house and bedrooms are huge, with a roomy kitchen too. Thanks so much for the lovely stay and hospitality.

Watch your step in the sauna, the floor tiles are really slippery. Be careful, and don't drink much beforehand. You could seriously hurt yourself.

They make you feel like family here! In summer it's a little paradise, with the lake, sauna, and barbecue area. The city is 7 km away. Come by.
