The staff were friendly, and it’s a very nice place to stay. English speakers were hard to find, though.

I really like this place.

We had a Comfort room and loved it: there was a huge bed, lovely blankets, a kettle, towels, and robes. The food was wonderful too, especially the syrniki. We stayed with our dog, which cost an extra 40 rubles per night. There’s plenty of room for families with children, and I’d recommend staying here even for a few days. The train station is close by, but I didn’t hear any trains during the night.

The park area is wonderful, and the place itself has a cozy, atmospheric feel. Its mix of Russian Empire, Provence, Loft, and Grange styles comes together as an eclectic Belarusian look that aficionados and connoisseurs may enjoy. The staff seem to do a bit of everything, from sweeping to entertaining guests. The music felt provincial and like modern art, without much taste or a sense of what music should be playing at breakfast, especially when it’s blaring. The cuisine was overpriced and not very tasty. At dinner, the steak tasted clearly of cheap margarine, and the same was true of the omelet at lunch. It’s colorful and atmospheric, and highly recommended.
