Green Village Eco Hotel

The lake and setting are beautiful, but we left feeling the price didn't match what was offered. We came with our two children, ages 3 years and 9 months, and there was no high chair, microwave, sandbox, or slide, and no activities for kids. Even a trampoline would have helped. The children's area is poorly laid out. The internet only worked by the lake and at the tavern under the pine tree. The tap water smelled, and mosquitoes swarmed us; we were bitten by garrotes on the first day. Of the seven bikes, only one was barely usable, so our planned ride turned into a walk through the forest. I'd give it 6 out of 10. I think this was a one-time visit to this eco-hotel.

The staff made us feel like we were visiting good friends, always kind and ready to help. It was quiet and peaceful, and we really got to relax. I don't often leave reviews, but wanted to give this place a thumbs up. The resort is genuinely clean in every corner, not just tidied up for show. Our cabin felt fresh and the linens were spotless. I'd definitely recommend it.

The nature is the one good thing here. The idea behind the vacation project seemed solid, but the owners haven't kept the place clean or maintained, which makes it feel like money comes first. We spent almost a week here, and I strongly advise against bringing children. There are no suitable conditions for them. The plumbing in the house is wrecked, and everything seems made from the cheapest materials. It even looked as if the builders had been shortchanged and not paid. The other problems were internet, cleanliness and repairs, poor value for the price, and a murky arrangement for firewood and coal. The staff seemed strange and didn't know or understand things, with everyone doing a half-hearted job. They also wanted the money in advance. I've said my piece.

A cozy, clean chalet set among pine trees, with lovely grounds that are well looked after. It was incredibly quiet, and everything seemed arranged for a comfortable stay. Just right if you want some privacy.
