Best Western Plus Belize Biltmore Plaza

We used the airport shuttle when arriving, and the hotel also runs shuttles to the port, museum, and downtown. Everyone was very nice, and there’s a bar, cafe, and restaurant on site. The rooms are spacious, and we stayed three nights altogether, split between coming into Belize and leaving. The pool and courtyard are beautiful, though a couple of outdoor chairs near the room would have been nice. I’d stay here again.

The staff I met were professional, friendly, and quick to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I’d gladly stay again. There’s a good restaurant with lots of food choices, plus an on-site coffee shop, and parking at both the front and back is just steps from the entrances. The gift shop has reasonably priced souvenirs, and beside the concierge desk there are basics, medicines, and snacks if you need something quickly or forgot something. The airport is about a 12-15 minute drive; pickups and drop-offs need to be scheduled, but that’s easy to arrange. Brodies is only a few minutes away on foot or by car and has groceries, household goods, a pharmacy, souvenirs, and plenty more. My one wish was for reliably warm shower water. When several people showered around the same time, mine was lukewarm or cold. It wasn’t a major problem, but warmer water whenever you needed it would have been nice. The location is convenient for getting to many places.

Karen and Annika deserve a shout-out for the great service, as does my massage therapist, who I think was named Michelle. She was amazing, and I highly recommend getting a spa treatment there. The pool was lovely, the room was very clean, and check-in was easy for my friend and me. There’s a restaurant on site and the food was pretty good. It’s in central Belize City, not far from downtown or the airport, with grocery stores and good restaurants within walking distance. Five stars!

The staff were all so nice, and the little coffee shop was amazing. I loved the pool and the tasty drinks, too. There’s a party area on the third floor where you can watch sunrise and sunset, and birdsong carries through all the tropical plants. The property is beautiful, and the rooms are clean and pleasant.
