Panchos Villas

Our room was a good size, with a kitchenette that had a sink, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and fridge, though no cooker. We were only there for a couple of nights, so we didn’t need room service, but it’s available if you ask. The hotel was very convenient to reach from the water taxi, just a few minutes’ walk with our heavy luggage. Reception is in a small building in front of the main one, and doesn’t seem to be staffed all the time. The island is small and easy to explore on foot. There’s a restaurant and bar directly opposite the hotel, where the music usually stops around 11 pm. For breakfast, I recommend House of Jack’s, a short walk to the left. We had a pleasant stay and I’d be happy to return.

The room was extremely clean, with daily housekeeping available, and had all the kitchen things we needed: plates, dishes, cutlery, a microwave, fridge, toaster, and coffee maker. Melanie and her family were amazing and took care of every need. The location is very central, around the corner from the ferry terminal and a short walk to the split. Worth every penny and an ideal place to stay in Caye Caulker. Thank you, Melanie.

The property is in a great spot, within walking distance of everything on the island. The rooms were spotless, pretty big, and had everything we needed. Melanie kept checking every day whether we wanted housekeeping or fresh towels. She and her partner are super nice people, couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Thanks again.

There’s no glass in the windows, just metal shutters and screening, so a lot of noise gets in, especially when the bar next door has a live band. The room layout was a little strange. On the plus side, the location was fairly central, the bathroom was clean with hot water, and the staff were friendly. All in all, good for the price, especially if you plan to stay out late.
