Belizean Shores Resort

The pool was a highlight for me, with several sections that gave people room to spread out. The swim-up bar was great, service fantastic, and there were lots of good food options. You hardly need to leave Belizean Shores for a good meal, and breakfast was awesome too. I ate at Sol Cafe across the street or brought breakfast to a cabana and ate by the pool as the sun came up. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, with beach volleyball, cornhole, a massive chess board, and a large sports court with full court basketball and 2 pickle ball courts. We stayed a week in room 12B, an upper level ocean front room. The balcony doors opened to let in fresh air, and the air conditioning performed well. It had a large balcony, full kitchen, upper loft with two beds, master bedroom with good storage, and a living room with a fold out couch. There was plenty of room for my wife, two kids, mother in-law, and me. The fold out couch was a bit noisy, and there was only one bathroom. Security was top notch. Antonio kept tabs on everything, knew what was going on, and was a great guy with lots of knowledge. I felt very safe, and the front desk staff were helpful and polite. Seleny was awesome to work with. We also booked two snorkel trips with the on-site adventure crew Tuff E Nuff, and the crew was superfantastic. Our first trip was to Hol chan on the small catamaran. The three person crew was perfect, gave very informative details on the way, guided us through the water excellently, and V made the best ceviche for the ride home. The other trip was a quick speedboat ride to Mexico rocks and the new sting ray alley. We loved both. We also rented a Golf cart from the front desk. It rode smoothly, had lots of storage, and they handled everything like gas and insurance. I highly recommend Belizean Shores as a vacation home base. This was my 3rd and best trip to Belize, and I’ll stay here when I return. Thanks to everyone who made it memorable.
