A fun place for adults, with its own lively bar and pool scene at the PUR mainstay. There’s also the large food and drink mall nearby, the “truck stop.” Our room, lion, had good A/C and plenty of space for two, and the bathroom was ample. They’d put a gallon jug of drinking water and coffee in the room.

PUR Private gives you a nicely tucked-away place to unwind, with a private pool, modern rooms, fast wifi, and more. If you’re more social, you might like their sister property, PUR Boutique Cabanas. Both are exceptional. For an easy trip around Belize, PUR is a great choice. The staff and service are the best on Ambergris, and the location makes it easy to get to everything on the island. I’ll be back.
