JJEM Cabanas

We felt at home at JJEM Cabanas, and Michelle, Ed, Jess, and Julia made sure we had what we needed. They helped arrange a golf cart, excursions, and offered useful suggestions. The Sharpe family were all welcoming and happy to answer questions. Locals were lovely and friendly, especially to JJEM Cabanas guests, since the Sharpe family is so well known. Our cabana was right on the beach with a gorgeous ocean view, lots of natural light, and a huge bedroom with a king bed. Restaurants and groceries were within walking distance. We arrived to a welcome basket full of fruit and treats, and had a fantastic week in Belize thanks to the hospitality of Michelle and Ed Sharpe. We can't wait to return. Michelle is also a real estate agent in Belize, so if you fall in love with the country, she can help you find your own paradise home.

A serene, peaceful spot just steps from the beach, with spectacular views and everything thoughtfully laid out so you don't need a thing. Michelle and Ed put a lot of love and thought into JJEM Cabanas and were wonderful hosts. A perfect 10 out of 10 getaway. We'll be back and will recommend it.

Michelle and Ed made our stay at JJEM Cabanas special. They left a welcome basket of fruit and snacks, and the binder was packed with dining and excursion suggestions. When we said we might like to kayak, Ed set out kayaks, paddles, and life vests on the beach for us to use that day. The little cabana is right on the beach, only a few steps from the water. It was clean and comfortable, and we loved the incredible sunrise views. If you're headed to Placencia, Belize, and want that kind of stay, book here. I can't say enough about the wonderful time we had.

It’s quiet here but still convenient for good restaurants and other things you might need. The beachside cabanas are lovely, and ours had everything we needed and then some. We were welcomed with local fruit and chocolate, and they gave us local eggs for breakfast. The kitchen was nicely designed and well equipped, the porch furniture was comfortable, and there was AC and fans. One fan even had a speaker for music. The sea view and warm Caribbean breeze made breakfast or an afternoon drink on the porch especially nice. The sheets and towels were excellent, and the bed was so comfortable I want one at home. They’ll soon have a pool, too. Michelle and Ed are wonderful hosts. I’d highly recommend their place.
