Zoëtry Curaçao Resort & Spa

We love this resort and plan to come back as soon as we can. It's quiet and peaceful, and the property is very well maintained. The staff work hard to make your stay the best they can, and the community feels honest and trustworthy. If you want a big resort with swim-up bars, loud music, and wild nightlife, you'd be disappointed. For a peaceful place to disconnect, unwind, and relax, this is it.

The food was good, though not gourmet, and the restaurant at Lamere was delicious. Zoetry's Poolside Grill and bar never really disappointed us. Beach access was easy, but the golf carts were noticeable, and finding chairs was hard unless you got there by 6 AM. We also had no hot water for the whole week. We were staying at the resort and complained every day, but it was never fixed.

The service was a complete miss throughout our stay. At times the front bar had no staff at all, leaving frustrated guests to go behind the bar and serve themselves. We called reception several times for fresh towels and got no answer; when we went to the front desk, nobody was there. Our room wasn't serviced until after 7 PM one day, and only after multiple calls. Staff seemed slow, forgetful, and lackadaisical, and things took repeated reminders. There are only two restaurants at Zoëtry, one by the pool open for lunch and another open for breakfast and dinner. Sometimes just three people were working between them, covering several jobs, with the host also serving and servers cooking. For a resort marketed as luxury, the food was awful. Even with access to Dreams and its restaurants, the food there was worse. Room service was disgusting, and the cheeseburger arrived burnt and cold at the same time. I came for a wedding and my birthday, and the stay was a major disappointment. The rooms and aesthetics at Zoëtry are nice, and the wedding reception food was decent, but everyday food was nasty, tasteless, and extremely limited. The staff were friendly and pleasant, but the resort was severely understaffed and needs a management refresh. I can't call the service hit or miss. It was just a miss. It wasn't worth what we paid. If you're visiting Curaçao, do yourself a favor and stay at an Airbnb or a non all-inclusive resort.

From check-in through checkout, I had a lovely stay at the Zoetry. The rooms were immaculate and well appointed, and both the grounds and restaurants were beautiful. The bars and restaurants were well staffed, with friendly, professional staff. I'd definitely return.
