The location is good, and we liked the pools. The rooms were okay, but the living room has no walls or proper windows, so mosquitoes get inside. That's not great in a country with Dengue. The bedrooms do have windows, yet one had more than 100 mosquitoes in it when we arrived. Service was lacking. Restaurants weren't open as advertised, some orders never arrived, and staff often seemed like they'd rather be somewhere else. There was no soap in the bathrooms either. We booked airport transport with a child seat, but when the car finally showed up it didn't have one. We waited another two hours for the vehicle to return, only to find the seat was broken, so we had to travel without it. The driver said a child seat wasn't needed in Curacao.

The clear water by the nearby beach made it easy to see all kinds of fish, and the resort itself has lots of facilities. The main issue was how hot the toilet and living room got, the cooling there needs improvement. Opening the shades made it even harder to keep mosquitoes away.

Nice hotel in a good location, with good service. The restaurants could be a bit unfriendly, though. Bring mosquito repellent, since the open living room lets them in at night and you may get bitten.

The place was nice, but I got bitten by too many bugs. The villa's slatted walls didn't keep the mosquitoes out.
