The apartment was very clean and spacious, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We had a sea view, though trees and buildings blocked part of it, and it adjoins Mambo Beach. The layout and size would work for a family, and the basics were there, but the little problems made our nine-night July stay frustrating as a couple. I'll look elsewhere next time. Bars were loud at different hours, and some mornings construction started at 7:30. There was no AC in the living room or kitchen, so those areas got hot unless we ran the bedroom AC all day and night. The stairway had no lights, so it was very dark and we had to use the outside stairs. Several apartment lights were out too. We couldn't figure out the combination oven and microwave, even with the written instructions. There were no door handles on the balcony sliders. The apartment had no dish soap, bath soap, shampoo or leftover basics like cooking oil, salt and pepper. The electric gate to the beach was broken when we arrived and still hadn't been fixed ten days later. They said it had already been out for a week and a half, and locked it at 6 p.m., an hour before sunset. After that we had to walk about 200 meters to get in. The device could have been shipped from the US or EU and replaced in a day, so I don't understand why they left it broken for weeks.

Our two-bedroom, two-bath apartment was just right, and the balcony view was a bonus. The place felt very safe, with security at night and the car behind a locked gate that only opened with the room key. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Restaurants, souvenir shops, the beach and massages were all conveniently close. I'd recommend it to my traveling friends, definitely top tier.

It was a nice place to stay, but the cleanliness was a serious red flag. We spent six nights there and only got fresh towels twice. They never changed the bed linen, brought clean dishes, or cleaned the floors.

The ocean and surrounding views were the best part, and we also liked having beaches, restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was easily big enough for my wife and adult children to stay comfortably, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Staff were professional, friendly and focused on service. They seemed to go out of their way to meet our expectations. It's a great place for a couple or a family, and we'll definitely come back soon.

The location is perfect if you like a lively, busy area, and I had no complaints about the service. I had a great holiday, though Curacao was quite hot during my stay and the living room without air conditioning was unbearable. The west-side balcony also had a bad smell, like poop. Apart from that, everything was good.
