Trupial Hotel & Casino

We really enjoyed the hotel's green, jungle-like setting, and the restaurant was good too. The place is charming and well maintained, the room was nice, and the staff were lovely. The air conditioner made some noise, and the pool had too much chlorine, but we had a good stay.

I've stayed at Trupial Inn several times and have always been happy with the service and accommodation. This visit, though, I especially want to thank the hotel and restaurant staff and management. My mother became ill while we were in the restaurant, and everyone came to help, including some other diners. They made her comfortable and kept checking on her after she began to feel better. It was a scary situation, and I really appreciate the care and concern they showed us. Thank you to everyone. You showed the warmth of Curacao and its people.

The entrance needs a serious facelift and doesn't make a good first impression. Mosquito control could be better, and the in-room coffee machine has seen better days. Still, our room was as advertised and suited what we wanted. It was clean, kept tidy each day, and had a comfortable bed. The location is central, everything worked, and the facilities felt safe. A cozy little hotel tucked into a tropical garden, with pretty art sculptures all around. It's somewhat out of the way, but close to the main roads into town and to the beach. The small pool is stylish, and the pasta restaurant is good. The entrance could use some maintenance, but we enjoyed our stay.
