Chill was the standout for us. The food and staff there were amazing, and Piazza was good too, though the pizza came out underbaked on our second visit. Hemingway was decent the first night, but breakfast didn't make us want to go back. Nemo was fine. The other on-site dining was a little underwhelming overall. The beach and surroundings were beautiful, and everything felt close by. Some days it was hard to get a cabana, though we got lucky most of the time. Both the Supermarket Shuttle and Downtown Shuttle were handy. I just wish the downtown one ran later than 1 PM. I was there September 12-19 for my 35th birthday, and the staff were kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout. My Deluxe Ocean View room didn't have an ocean view, which disappointed me at first, but that soon stopped mattering. The room was beautiful, very comfortable, and spacious, with two king-size beds. I also enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Having to carry a card for the room and beach towels felt dated. A wristband would be much easier. Still, I would 1000% return, especially knowing what to expect. Special shout-out to the front desk team, especially Shersand. You were wonderful. Beautiful property, beautiful people, and a stay I'll never forget.

It was nice to see people of all ages enjoying Lion's Dive Resort, from older couples and young families to travelers around my age. I travel a lot, and I genuinely loved staying here. I'll definitely come back to Curacao and stay again. The grounds are beautiful, and the hotel has a long stretch of beachfront with calm, protected water. Our room was simple and clean, with outdoor space. We only tried the relaxation pool, not the lap pool, and it felt great on a hot day. Everyone was friendly and kind, especially Peaches at the beach towel station. The staff helped with all our questions, from taxis to beach suggestions. We were there for a week in January 2026, my first time in Curacao. We ate at Piazza and Hemingway and found the food surprisingly good, even by our picky New Yorker standards. Breakfast was convenient, though it could use more coffee and milk choices and some a la carte options. There are other places nearby if you'd like something different. Hemingway, Piazza, and Chill Bar all had strong, refreshing drinks. The bars alternate noisy nights, so you might hear music from your room in the evening. That's part of the island culture.

We spent eight wonderful days here with our family, two adults and two teenagers, and really loved our stay. The mood around the resort was calm and pleasant, the rooms were spotless, and the towels and linens felt high quality. Parking made it easy to head out and explore the beaches on the island's west side. Back at the hotel, the staff were kind and welcoming. There was an almost private beach, and Mambo Beach Boulevard was right next door with plenty of restaurants and shops. The resort's restaurants were excellent, and we especially enjoyed the happy hours, delicious drinks, and fresh, flavorful smoothies. We truly loved it and highly recommend Lions Dive.

Roan at the front desk welcomed me when I arrived, then came through again when my flights home were unexpectedly cancelled. At the last minute, he arranged a new room and transport back to the airport the next day. Simone kept my room spotless and greeted me every day, and Eldrich was always smiling, helped with my bags, and gave me a bottle of wine for my birthday. Plenty of other staff treated me with real respect and care, including the beach attendants who taught me bon dia and dushi. Thank you all so much! I came on my own to celebrate my birthday and had a great time. I stayed Dec 14-22, with a partial ocean view looking over Hemingway's. Sunday's live band caught me by surprise, but I loved it. I jumped out of bed and danced in my room. The hotel was near the beach, though not close to Willemstad. I took the free shuttle there one day and it worked great. I had a rental car too, and there was lots of free parking for guests. The hotel staff were amazing.

We stayed at LionsDive Resort almost two months ago, and my family still talks about what a great time we had in Curacao. It was my first visit and the only place I've stayed, so they've set the bar pretty high. I hate to write this because I want to keep it secret lol, but LionsDive is simply the best, cue Tina Turner. The room, staff, service, food, beach, and location were all great. The beach was phenomenal, with crystal-clear water and hardly any waves. Some spots near the shore were rocky, but beach shoes took care of that. We enjoyed hanging out in the water and snorkeling. We saw plenty of fish but no sea turtles. Hint: go farther north to Playa Piskado/Forti/Grote Knip to see them. Our room was on the 3rd floor, had two queen beds, and was clean and spacious enough. There was a shared balcony where I loved having coffee, cigars, and beers while enjoying the view. There was no elevator access, but staff carried our luggage up when we arrived and helped bring it down when we left. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, from the front desk and security to the restaurant waitstaff and cooks, and the towel guys. They each looked after us in their own way. They gave my kids lots of toys and little souvenirs, which made them feel extra special. The location is clutch. LionsDive has its own beach and sits right by Mambo Beach, so you can walk to everything. There are restaurants on site and several more in Mambo. Downtown Willemstad is just a 10-15min drive away. Would I return to Curacao? Absolutely. Would I stay at LionsDive again? Without a doubt. It's family friendly and felt like affordable luxury. It may not count as a 5-star hotel, but it's definitely a 10 in my book.
