The rooms were extremely clean, and the owner was so kind to us. I honestly can't see what there is to fault here. If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely stay again. 10/10.

It felt like being welcomed into someone's home, and the rooms were affordable, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The shared kitchen and washroom were clean, and towels were provided. The owner was friendly and helpful, even showing us where we could charge our car for free. This isn't a fancy hotel, and that's part of its homey feel. No complaints from us, we'd definitely come back. Thanks so much for having us!

He is incredibly caring and knows so much about holistic healing. This man saved my partner's life and completely changed the course of our declining health. I can't wait to return for treatment. I hope he can keep his practice in Amherst and isn't driven away like so many highly educated newcomers from other parts of Canada and abroad. We need more caring people who specialize in holistic healing and truly care about residents' health.

We booked two upstairs bedrooms, but at check-in the property was very messy, and the rooms smelled unpleasant, like a mix of acupuncture medicine and curry. My kids didn't want to stay even a minute, so we moved to another hotel. We didn't get a refund, despite being promised one in full. Then, to our surprise, we were charged $140 for supposedly breaking a mirror, even though we never went into their bedrooms.

I first met Mangala at a seminar last year, where he gave me his business card. Less than two weeks ago, I called him and my wife and I drove to Amherst to explain her situation. She'd had depression and anxiety for decades and had been prescribed two SSRI antidepressants, Venlafaxine and Bupropion, as well as statins for cholesterol. During that visit, I learned about Mangala's approach as a Holistic Medical Practitioner, treating people in a non-chemical, non-western medical way. From a Google search asking whether Venlafaxine and Bupropion cause dementia, I concluded that all three drugs cause dementia, including statins. Two months ago, my wife was hospitalized with a twisted colon and given only days to a couple of weeks to live. She couldn't take her medication and was off it for just under two months. She told me she was beginning to feel again and didn't want to restart. Then she became angry and a little aggressive, so I put her back on the meds. Within days, she forgot who I was. It was devastating. She's now taking two Herbs and slowly coming out of the darkness. She knows my name, usually knows where she lives, and is funny and amiable again. I had a breakdown in 1984 and was put on heavy antipsychotic medication by my psychiatrist. It was so strong I couldn't return to University, and I spent most of my life working menial jobs. I never explored Eastern Medicine healing because some churches I attended taught that practices like that weren't of God. My wife has had good changes over the past few days. She still has moments, but is holding her own and seems to improve each day. Mangala is humble, kind, and compassionate. I didn't know about Eastern Medicine, but his treatments are natural herbs. They won't damage you, they'll help you. I'm taking them too and have cut my psychiatric medication in half. It's too early to notice changes for myself, but I trust Mangala and hope for a positive outcome. Thank you, Mangala.
