Interlake Motel

Jaky had a room ready on very short notice and made me feel welcome. It was clean and comfortable, with the usual basics, a little microwave, bar fridge, and pod coffee maker. This is my second time staying here. The quaint motel sits just off the highway, at the end of Main Street in Ashern, and it's a dependable option if you're in town.

Check-in was super easy and the rooms were great. I was really surprised when JAY called at 11 pm to check that we were okay. I'd phoned earlier to say we'd be arriving late after a long drive, and they made sure we were safe since the 6 can be a bit of a mess.

For a late night stop on a long drive, being able to bring my small dog was a real help. The owner arranged a late entry based on our phone conversations, and I appreciated the trust and accommodation. The room was very clean, with a table, a small Keurig, good air conditioning, curtains, and a blackout blind. The one bedroom is a bit tight, but it worked well. A window by the shower gave the room a little night light. You can walk straight in from your vehicle, past hanging flowers and a wood deck, and there's a picnic table on the grass for coffee outside. It's right off Highway 6, but the room wasn't noisy. I chose it after seeing good reviews and room photos, and if I need to stay in Ashern again, I'd come back here. Debra Manitoba Animal Alliance

We were still looking for a room around midnight after coming from far away, because the hotel we'd booked earlier wasn't up to standard. When we called, they answered right away and let us see the room without any fuss when we weren't satisfied with other options. The rooms were immaculate, with everything we needed in the bathrooms. It was smoke-free and felt safe for children. The outside setting was second to none. Thanks for such great service. I'd give more than five stars if I could, and recommend it to anyone needing a hotel nearby.
