Lucille was so accommodating and kind. Her husband was away during our visit, but she still made us feel welcome. We’d picked up a few small pieces of iceberg the afternoon before checking in, and she kindly let us keep them in her freezer. I really appreciated that. Breakfast was lovely, too, and getting a list of options the night before made it easy to choose.
The oceanfront sunset view from the room was beautiful, and the house felt new, clean, and comfortable. It was quiet, so we slept really well. The host made fresh breakfast every morning, including a chance to try local food. I wish we could have stayed longer.
We had a nice view of the lake from the porch, and the two dogs were friendly. The couple hosting us were warm and welcoming, which matters a lot at a B&B. They’re just outside Twillingate, beyond the city limit, so the road there isn’t paved, though getting into town is easy. There was an issue with the well during our stay. Twillingate books up fast, and this is a good place to fit in a night or two.
We had a great breakfast, and the hosts made us feel right at home. They were friendly and happy to help, and we had an incredible stay.
