Dunlop Inn

The lighthouse room was new, airy, and bright, with an unbelievable view straight out to the ocean and marina. We could use the deck chairs, deck, and firepit, and there was a big lounge with a TV, games, and books, or just space to relax. The Inn and room were fantastic. Breakfast was continental, with croissants, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, and more. The location and view are stunning, and the Alexander Graham Bell Museum was an awesome visit, just a short walk away.

It was a short walk to all the amenities in Baddeck, and having off-street parking was nice. Downstairs there’s a sitting area and dining room with a kettle and coffee maker, which was a bonus. We loved relaxing on the deck overlooking the lake. It’s a lovely, well-appointed old house with a beautiful, comfortable room. Excellent B&B.

The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and we can’t thank them enough. The Dunlop Inn is stunning and peaceful, with a delightful surprise in the view of the lighthouse. It’s also close to downtown, so restaurants are easy to get to. 10/10, highly recommend!

The Lighthouse room was bright, cheerful, clean, and comfortable, with a beachy feel, lovely water views, and air conditioning. We spent two nights at this fabulous inn, almost across the street from the Alexander Graham Bell house. The plentiful upscale continental breakfast had a good range of choices. There were several outdoor seating spots to enjoy the water view, plus a few tables for snacks or picnics. A bonus was that guests could use two kayaks.
