Huff Estates Inn & Winery

A few years ago, this would've been a five-star experience. The pizza is great when the season is open. But our latest tasting was dull; we felt like an inconvenience, the flights were skimpy, and his words didn't line up with his attitude.

This was one of the best stops on our honeymoon. It's a peaceful getaway, and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for one. We'll be back!

We're staying at the Inn now and having a lovely, relaxing holiday so far. Our room is spacious and well appointed, with a large shower in the bathroom and a nice private patio just outside the big patio door. Breakfast was a fabulous omelet with home fries and bacon. We've got a wine tour booked for later today and are planning pizza for lunch.

I can't comment on the rooms since our group came for wine tasting. It's a large vineyard, though other competitors impressed me more. Our sommelier was curt with us, perhaps because we were among the first to arrive at opening, and seemed less knowledgeable than others we've met on the circuit. He contradicted information we'd been given before, and served me the wrong wine for one tasting, which wasn't cool. If we return, we'd choose not to be served by that same person.
