Mountain Springs Resort

We had a really nice weekend here, and the suite was a good size for two. It was neat and had a living area right by the entrance, a queen bed, a stocked little kitchen with all the essentials, and a bathroom. The only drawback was being on the lower level and hearing the tenants upstairs walking around. Otherwise, I'd recommend it for a quick getaway.

We were able to cook dinner and breakfast in the kitchen, which has a microwave, fridge, and stove with an oven. The resort also has a shuttle running around the clock to the village if you'd rather not drive. The pool was nice, but it goes from shallow to deep without a gradual change, so take care with small kids. The hot tub was good too. The room was clean when we arrived, though it had a strange moldy smell. For a family of five it was okay, but the pull-out couch was a bit small for three kids, so we made a makeshift bed for our three-year-old.

Having an oven and fridge was handy, and the condo location worked well with its 24/7 shuttle. The drivers were very nice, though some of the shuttle phone operators had an attitude I didn't appreciate. The few times we dealt with the front desk, staff were friendly. The room was okay, but the heating unit was extremely loud and kept turning on and off at night, waking me up. On the second night I tried the fireplace, but it shut off randomly and I woke up freezing. All in all, it was okay.

The kitchen was fully stocked, which was really helpful, and when we ran out of dish soap it was delivered to our door within minutes. Check-in was easy, and the rooms looked like the pictures. We came with a small group of friends and enjoyed the stay. The 24-hour shuttle to the slopes was convenient and easy to use.
