We booked two units for three nights and were satisfied with the amenities, but the beds and mattresses, apart from the bunk beds, were awful. They creaked whenever you moved, loudly enough for people in the next bedroom to hear. One powder room toilet kept flushing noisily around the clock. The back door in that same unit didn’t work, so we didn’t leave our belongings there when we went out. There are lots of things to improve. The backyard is small compared with the way the photos make it look.

The house was otherwise very good and did the job for our company retreat, though it wasn’t perfect. You also have to contact the landlord to get the WiFi password. But the fire alarm went off twenty times over two nights, seemingly only at night. Other Airbnb reviewers have reported this as a known issue with the chalet. The sound is deafening, and after the third time it’ll drive you mad. We had no choice but to disconnect the smoke detectors from the mains, and many of them were still out of reach. Until the alarm system is fixed, I can’t recommend staying here.

It was clean enough before our group arrived, but it’s no modern or high-end place. We went with a big group of guys for a bachelor party, and it was pretty much what you’d expect. The setup is clearly meant to fit as many people as possible and make it easy to hang out and drink heavily. The hot tub, foosball, ping pong, and flat-screen TV all added value.

The cooking setup was short on pots and pans, and the couches were broken. The hot tub was gross, too. For what we paid, the chalet accommodations felt below average.

There was still plenty of room, but I hadn't realized the building was three houses squeezed together instead of one big house. We had the far-right unit, and its fridges weren't working properly.
