I stay here often and can’t wait to return next time I’m in Brampton. The people running the place are lovely, they keep things running smoothly, and they’re right there to help when you need something. The property is quiet and clean, with no problems at all. They’re very accommodating, and this is pretty much the only hotel I book here.

The front desk staff were excellent, especially Harma. Thanks for the kind, warm service. We had no hot water in the mornings of the first two days, but once we told the front desk, they called plumbers and got it fixed right away.

I’d stayed at this hotel with my family many times and always considered it my go-to. After this incident, I won’t book or spend money here again. I used the corporate discount to book for my brother, since it applies to friends and family. The front desk agent, Gagan, first said it was only for employees. I emailed the official guidelines, and she then accepted that family and friends were eligible but said it was a different type of discount. That was incorrect too. I explained the discount options on the official Wyndham website, including CAA, AARP, Government, Veteran, Senior, Corporate, and Group. There’s no separate “friends and family” discount listed. I asked several times for her to check the website, but she kept insisting the discounts were different, saying she “gets the same discount” and knew they weren’t the same. My brother was left at the desk for over two hours while I stayed on the phone trying to get the policy applied correctly. Instead of sorting it out, I was told to cancel a valid reservation and rebook at the desk at the regular rate. After more than two hours, we were suddenly told there was no problem with the reservation and he could check in. By then I’d lost trust in the hotel, so I cancelled and paid more to stay somewhere else rather than keep wasting time over staff who lacked product knowledge and adequate training. There was no willingness to resolve a straightforward issue, despite my clear explanations. This wasn’t just a botched check-in; the front desk’s unprofessionalism and poor training cost the hotel a loyal customer. Seeing so many similar reviews makes it look like a pattern, not a one-off mistake.

The room setup felt awkward and uncomfortable, though the beds were nice. There was hair and dirt in the drawers, black mold around the bathtub, and the carpet was dirty from drywall work. The hallways were messy too, with candy wrappers, renovation equipment, and a wet-dry vacuum in the middle of the hall. Check-in was complicated, with the manager handling multiple people at once. When I called the 1800 complaints line, the service was horrible and I was dismissed because I’d booked through the hotel com app. My credit card deposit is still being held on the third day, and I was told it could take up to seven days. Altogether, a bad experience. This used to be such a nice hotel years ago, but I won’t go back.

I came to Canada for the first time without knowing anyone or having anywhere to stay, and found Days Inn in Brampton. I booked seven days at first, then extended to 15. The hotel felt modern and comfortable, but also had a homely feel. The staff were wonderful, especially Mr Keyir Patel, who was ready to help at any hour. Being new to the country, I felt supported and cared for, almost like family. The breakfast was excellent, communication was outstanding, and the hospitality went beyond what I expected. I’d give it infinitely many stars out of five! Highly recommended for anyone visiting, especially on their first trip to Canada.
