Hotel 11, MOD A Sonesta Collection

I pulled back the sheets to get into bed and found stains. I called the front desk, and they said only the shuttle bus driver and one front desk person were working for the whole hotel, so they sent the driver up with replacement sheets. He handed them to me to change myself. I’m not above changing sheets, but I’d paid for a vacation and didn’t feel comfortable touching stained sheets without knowing what the stains were or where they came from. When I told the desk, they offered gloves so I could do it myself because nobody else was available. I asked to speak with a manager and was told this wasn’t a reason to contact one. The front staff were unhelpful and horrible, and seemed frustrated that I was upset. I even had to ask how they’d feel if this happened at a four-star hotel to get any empathy. I don’t consider this a four-star hotel, and I feel robbed of my money and experience. I’ll never stay here or recommend it.

Clean contemporary hotel throughout, with a room that had a king bed, lots of pillows, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It’s by the airport with easy highway access, but nothing is within walking distance. There’s free parking and an in-house bar and restaurant. Excellent value for the stay, and I’ll come back.

We needed a park and fly for our trip to Mexico, and this fit what we were looking for: parking for 7 days and a shuttle running all day and night. It’s about a five-minute drive from the airport, and the shuttle runs once an hour. After a long day of travel on our flight home, we were picked up quickly, which was great. The rooms were on the small side, but very clean and comfortable. The shampoo and soap were amazing, and I’m going to see if I can order some online.

I’d never heard of Hotel 11 before today, but I’ll seek it out from now on. I happened upon it while looking around the area for any place with vacancy, and I’m glad I did. The suite had two separate rooms, a bedroom and a living area with a couch, TV, and desk. The beds were comfortable, and my favorite thing was the steam shower. I spent an hour in there unwinding after the day.
