Inside, the place was pretty nice, maybe even a little over the top. But if you just need somewhere to sleep, I wouldn't recommend renting here. It seems better suited to a vacation stay of a week or longer. We had to pick up the keys at 346 23 Ave SW before going to the property, and the booking never mentioned that stop. There was no parking available, even for a fee, so we were told to use a nearby meter. We also tried to cancel the week before our date and were told the full price would still be charged to our credit card.

The homes here are mostly quite spacious, and some of the condos are beautiful. Princess Island Estates is a brick-faced, castle-like condominium community in Eau-Claire, close to the YMCA, Princess Island Park and Eau Claire Market. You enter by a drawbridge-like way. As the previous review noted, the corporation doesn't advertise. The units are all privately owned.

The advertised discount didn't last through booking. They added hotel fees of 40%, plus a $25 parking charge, then charged $30 when I cancelled. That's twice the fees shown in the small print.
