Being able to walk to the shops and restaurants, with parking right there, made the location especially convenient. The place was clean and looked after, and the front desk team were warm from arrival through checkout. Our bed was very comfortable and the room felt cozy, though smaller than we would have liked. We should probably have paid a little extra for more space. Trains pass nearby and can be heard, but if you sleep well with background noise, it may not bother you. We had a great stay and would come back, likely in a larger room next time.

The apartments are an easy walk from town and the shops, and the cooking facilities were excellent. The service desk was particularly helpful. One drawback is that a streetlight shines into some road-facing bedrooms, so blackout blinds are really needed. Trains pass through town too, and you may hear them.

I've come back here three or four times over the years, and it's a great base for exploring the Canadian Rockies. Getting in with the self check-in setup is straightforward, and downtown Canmore is about a 10-minute walk away. You do sometimes hear trains, and the windows are not large, so the views are limited. Still, I like staying here.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the clean, cozy micro studio worked well for a quick weekend. It's compact, so for a longer visit I'd choose a bigger room. The decor is rustic and basic. We loved being able to walk downtown, and the highway makes Banff or Calgary easy to reach. The views are stunning, Rocky Mountain Bagel is right next door, and it's pet-friendly, which matters a lot to us. The hot water wasn't working, so our showers were freezing, and the hot tub was closed. Wi-Fi kept cutting out, so I used my data. If you need to work remotely, one of the nearby cafés may be a better option. Great setting and a convenient stay, but I wish all the amenities had been working.

Everything we needed was already in the room, and it was so clean that we never had to call reception. Thanks, Basecamp. It would have been a nice extra to have a small free souvenir, maybe a fridge magnet. Until next time ❤️
