Silver Creek Lodge

Jacob gave us the best hospitality we’ve ever had, going out of his way to make sure our three-day stay was special. Sally, the afternoon manager, was an absolute delight too and helped with our room to make the experience great. We were at Silver Creek Lodge to get engaged and had the best weekend. The room was beautiful, as was the hotel and its staff. The restaurant was delicious, the wait staff were all amazing, and Luna was the best greeter we’ve ever had at a hotel. Jacob, Sally, and everyone else were so kind and thoughtful. We’ll definitely return to Silver Creek Lodge when we’re next in Canmore, and I’ll recommend it to anyone I know planning a special weekend away. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The balcony view is a panorama of mountains, and I could sit there staring at them all day. We’ve stayed here a couple of times in two-bedroom suites, and we love it. The views are great, the spaces are cozy, and there’s everything you need for either a short visit or a longer stay.

The steam room, with its strong eucalyptus scent, was so relaxing, and the two outdoor hot tubs were just the right temperature with a cool breeze. We used them all three days and expect they’ll be a big reason we return in spring. My mom and I came for a fall break, our first time at this hotel, and it didn’t disappoint. We stayed in what I believe is officially called the Deluxe King Room. It was perfect, and we loved being on the main floor even though we hadn’t requested it. Our window looked out at the Three Sisters. The little kitchen area was great, with both a kettle and teapot for our tea parties. A portable A/C kept the room cool, and the fireplace warmed it nicely. I think the fireplace is the only heat source, but it was fine. The bed felt a bit too firm for me, though my mom liked it. I asked the front desk for extra blankets to soften my side, and they kindly brought one that matched the room’s spare and offered a thick comforter too. Doubling up all three made it cozy. At check-in they explained that housekeeping wouldn’t come during our three-night stay, though perhaps they do for longer visits. They said we could ask for towels, tea, coffee, or toilet paper as needed, and the staff were accommodating. Just ask nicely. Thanks, Silver Creek Lodge. We’ve found our new favorite hotel in Canmore.

Everything was clean, both in the room and around the grounds, and the pool was warm and lovely. The view from the window was stunning, and I thought the price was just right. Everyone was polite and ready to help with any question. The service was excellent. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
