Tundra Inn

The staff made my stay especially enjoyable, and their offer of a ride to the airport took away a lot of stress. I was welcomed kindly and appreciated the accommodations I was given. Excellent customer service. Thank you!

We loved the Tundra Inn. The rooms were basic but very clean, and the service was incredible. Our rooms were ready when we arrived quite early, even though we hadn’t asked for that and expected only to drop off our bags. The staff were so kind and helpful. They also let us check out late so we could clean up after a quick dip in the Hudson following an excursion. We’d highly recommend staying at the Tundra Inn. And don’t skip the Tundra Pub and Ptarmigan, their food was always great.

It was warm and cozy, and worked perfectly for our tour group. The hotel had an odd layout, with stairs and a drunken step test where one step was a third the height of all the others. Beds were bigger than advertised, though the frames showed evidence of historical motion activities. Baseboard heating kept the room comfortable, and the shower had steady hot water and solid pressure. Free WiFi was a huge benefit. The hotel was our tour group’s main lodging, next to the Ptarmagin restaurant.

The front desk staff were the friendliest, and the rooms were clean with comfy mattresses. It’s a modest hotel, so people used to posh places may be disappointed. Ear plugs could come in handy for sensitive sleepers, or you can request a top-floor room. The Ptarmigan restaurant is right nearby, which can’t be beat. Would 💯 stay here again.
