Pacific Sands Beach Resort

Pacific Sands is in a beautiful spot right on the beach, and the staff were very accommodating. We changed our booking to upgrade, with several options to choose from, and the front desk handled all the changes smoothly. The snack shack is already open from 7am to 2pm, and a restaurant is due to open next week. It’s a gem of a west coast location, and the beach is perfect for surf lessons.

The beach is gorgeous, especially in the evening, and there’s now the new salt rose restaurant as well as the snack shack for a good coffee. We had a great little weekend here. It’s welcoming for families and fur babies, and I can’t wait to go back.

We were welcomed in the room with wine, a card, and chocolate from the staff, such a thoughtful touch. We were here for two nights to celebrate a 60th birthday, and made several walks across Cox Bay, plus took the nearby trail to Pettinger Point. Pacific Sands is a wonderful base for Tofino, with peaceful surroundings and dramatic ocean views. We stayed in the Cox Bay Hot Tub Suite, where waking up to the ocean from bed and stepping onto the deck for a private hot tub overlooking Cox Bay felt like a real escape. The rooms have warm cedar tones, natural greens, and a calm, minimalist feel. Japanese stemware and modern finishes are lovely details, and the full kitchen made it easy to stay in. Understated luxury with a contemporary West Coast style that fits Tofino beautifully. A memorable stay.

The beachfront setting and personal attention from the staff made our Easter long weekend in Tofino a real highlight. Mr. Lucas and Ms. Takota gave us a warm, seamless check-in and helped us get settled quickly. They also shared useful local tips, including places to eat and spots to visit that added a lot to our stay. We highly recommend this resort for a coastal getaway.
