Sequel inn Creemore

We went for a quiet Labor weekend break, and loved the beautiful, peaceful property. The host was lovely, and this was just amazing, the best place I’ve stayed in Ontario. Thanks for having us. We look forward to seeing you soon.

We never got to stay because our booking was declined after we said we were a family with children. We asked whether the children were the reason and were told that wasn’t the issue, but no explanation was given. If the resort prefers not to host children, that’s understandable, but stating it clearly on the website or Airbnb listing would have saved us time and effort.

Lisa and Eric took care of the food for our rehearsal dinner, breakfast, and lunch, and it was all amazing. Not having to handle those details was a huge relief. We got to relax with a drink by the pool in the evening and take morning coffee walks, with plenty of time to let the weekend sink in. Getting married at Sequel gave us the most fabulous wedding and a memory I couldn’t have asked to improve. The property, beautiful barn, Inn, and everything else were stunning. Staying at the Inn for the whole weekend was such a treat and made the wedding feel like much more than a quick moment. I wish we could do it all again. Thank you, Sequel!

The food, prepared by the inn’s chef, owner, and operator, was absolutely delicious and included vegetables grown on site. The main building was clean, welcoming, and beautifully decorated, and the grounds were breathtaking. There’s something for everyone, from hiking trails to the pool, hot tub, and bonfire pit. The event barn keeps its rustic character as an older barn, with beautiful lighting, fans, and oversized doors that open onto the scenery. Lisa and her team gave us impeccable service and went above and beyond. We loved spending the weekend at the Sequel Inn for our friends’ wedding, and will always remember this beautiful place and the memories made there.
