Canway Inn & Suites

We were evacuated from home and ended up away for 28 days, with eight of us needing three rooms. Lori, the manager, went out of her way to keep us in the same rooms for nearly the whole time. One weekend we had to leave because the hotel was already booked up, but we came back Sunday and finished our stay in the rooms we'd started in. The rooms were clean, and housekeeping was great. I like to keep things tidy myself, so they were fine just bringing clean towels, garbage bags, and coffee. They even let me use the vacuum. The staff member using it was reluctant to hand it over because he thought he should do it for me, but doing it myself helped me feel a little normal during a really stressful time. Lori's husband was at the desk a few times when I called for help. He made me laugh and had a nice conversation with me, which felt good. It really felt like we mattered here. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and it was so handy to eat at Smitty's without driving around looking for a restaurant. We also didn't have to go to a laundromat once we discovered the laundry room. That mattered after leaving in a hurry with limited clothes, since we had to fit all of us in the vehicle. Canway will be the only hotel I use when I visit Dauphin. It feels like a home away from home. Thanks to everyone there, and Lori, you're a terrific manager and a lovely person.

After an accident in st.rose, we were stuck in dauphin, and the people at canway inn dauphin were caring and accommodating while we were there. The pool was super quiet, so my son got to enjoy it with just us there. They turned a really stressful time into a safe, comfortable place to stay. I'll definitely be back. Thank you, canway.

We had a good time. The hot tub in the room was nice, and the stay was not bad.

The staff were really friendly, which is why I gave it more than one star. I came based on the positive reviews, but our room was in bad shape, with several carpet stains and some kind of stains all over the blanket.
