Travelodge by Wyndham Drummondville

The beds were comfortable, but the bright lights from the heated mirror’s touch switches lit up the room and made it hard to sleep. Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room, and reception said they’d been having problems. We had to ask for a coffee maker because it was missing, one cup was still dirty, and there was no hair dryer. The receptionist said the room had recently been renovated, but white paint was still on the floors. We booked while on the road heading to NB, then had to pay extra for a ground floor room when we arrived. These are first world problems, but they add up. On the funny side, the no smoking sign on the back of the door was backwards. 😆

The room was clean and the price was excellent. Valery at the front desk was friendly and eager to help. We had a Wi-Fi issue during our stay, but we’d still come back 100%.

We stopped after a long, tiring drive hoping to get a good night’s sleep. A private party was booked at the site, with no regard for the traveling guests who were there to rest. Drums and noise continued until 3:00 am. We and other guests complained several times, but got no response. The only compensation was “SORRY!”

The room was very clean and the rate reasonable. The restaurant food was the best meal I’ve had on the road so far, and the staff are super. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I’d come back for the food alone. 10/10.
