Alt Hotel Halifax Airport - In Terminal

The gym on the ground floor has the basics for a decent workout, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and stylish, with art across the walls. It’s also a great spot if you’re flying the next day. Most of all, I’m grateful to Manpreet, Anjam and James (maintenance) for sorting out my jammed room door. As someone who travels a lot, I found the staff some of the kindest and most helpful I’ve met. They paid attention and communicated well with each other, so they could find a solution quickly when I was in a tough spot. I’m glad I stayed here. Manpreet, Anjam and James really deserve recognition for their customer service.

It’s a handy place to stay if you’ve got an early flight, though being at the airport can mean noise at night. The hotel looks nice and very modern, but that style makes the rooms feel small. If you prefer a traditional hotel look, this might suit you.

You can get to your gate through the airport connection without going outside, which makes travel day much easier. The rooms were clean, quiet, and kept in good shape. It does cost a bit more, but I thought the convenience was worth it. Keep in mind there’s no private hotel parking, so you have to use the main airport lot.

The top-floor rooms have a fantastic view of the airport, and I liked the room design, Nespresso, and bendable armchair. There’s also a 24-hour cafe in the lobby with tasty food and drinks. Great place to stay at the airport before an early flight. Gotta love the Alt Hotels.
