Timbers Resort

The beach is a quick, beautiful walk away, and everyone seemed to enjoy the communal sports area and fire pit. Our kids made friends with other kids, and we met lots of campers. The cabins are arranged so you don’t have a direct view of your neighbors, though the space could work as a communal area if you wanted it to. We stayed in cabin 3 with two children in diapers. We usually camp, but that felt like a lot this time, and this cabin was a good middle ground: still out in nature and primitive enough that you’re not just on your devices, yet comfortable and well serviced for our needs. Everything was thoughtfully set up, charming, and extremely clean. We met people who come back every year, and can see why. We could see ourselves joining them. Highly recommended!

The cabins are cozy, the beds are comfortable, and the place feels like home. It was clean and quiet, too. My kids had a blast making new friends at the playground. You’re close to the lake and plenty of sightseeing spots. I recommend staying here.

I was just trying to book a cabin for my family, but the woman on the phone was snotty and no help at all. She was very rude, and I wouldn’t spend my money here. I don’t care how nice the 80 plus properties she brags about are. I don’t do business with people who don’t deserve it, and I wouldn’t recommend giving them your money.

I stayed five nights on my own, and this cozy cabin was perfect. It was clean, had the basics I needed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts were nearby if I needed anything and were incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d love to come back. Thanks for everything!
