Snow Creek Cabins by Fernie Lodging Co.

The ski crew were fantastic, and we had a blast on the hills even though the snow was a bit packed when we went. They had rentals for toddlers, which was great, though getting them took a long time. Check-in was annoying and unclear. If you don’t get the door code email, you have to go to the main lodge, which isn’t within walking distance. The lodge staff weren’t especially friendly.

There wasn’t any front desk person that I saw, but check-in and checkout went pretty smoothly. My key fob wouldn’t let me into the hot tub and pool area at first, though a couple of tries did the trick. The apartments felt a bit old, and the toilets didn’t look very clean. The location is hard to beat, with a ski-out right beside the building, and it was super convenient for my weekend stay.

We were six adults and a toddler in unit 101, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it worked great for our family. The unit faced the hill and pool and had a nice balcony. The beds were comfortable, and everything else was adequate, though the decor and some furniture are showing their age. We loved the location, hot tubs, pool, and rental shop right in the Lodge. We’ll try to rent this unit again when we go to Fernie. Thank you, Owners!

We’ll definitely come back. The place has good parking and ski services and lockers, plus two hot tubs and a pool. It’s a fantastic spot right off Mighty Moose for skiing in and out. Service was a little slow to respond, but the issues did eventually get sorted out. Great for a family vacation.
