Motel Quatre Saisons

The room was excellent, clean, comfortable, and affordable. I also liked the woman on the night reception. But for the administration, the behavior of the morning front desk woman would get this place zero stars. Still, it doesn't feel fair to lower the score over a two-minute conversation when the place has so many good points. Five stars, with that condition.

Be careful booking this motel, because once you've paid, you may not get any money back. I booked while looking around the Rimouski area, then realized the motel was across the Saint Laurent River, a two-hour ferry ride away. I called within ten minutes of booking to cancel, but they refused and charged the full amount for both rooms, along with extra charges that never happened. They were just trying to collect every bit of money they could, with no basic morality. Shame on you. God knows what you did!

The rooms were very clean and the service was excellent, so I'd definitely stay again. Breakfast was minimal, but enough to get us back on the road.

Very ordinary. The town has nothing going for it and is one to avoid. The unusual part was having a room underground, with a small window looking up at the ground-level car park.
