La Place Rendez-Vous

The restaurant has improved a lot since my past visits. The staff were attentive and friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was genuinely great. It’s nice to be able to enjoy a good meal without leaving the hotel. For the room, I’d pay a little extra for the lake view. The balcony is amazing, especially for sitting out with a coffee in the morning and looking over the water. That view makes the stay feel more special. Comfortable rooms, lovely lake views, and a restaurant putting in the effort make this an easy choice for me in Fort Frances. I’d stay again.

Dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious, and we enjoyed the high quality food and spirits. The ribeye steak was our top choice. Our room was super clean and updated, with a walk-out deck and an amazing view. Listening to the geese and seagulls, surrounded by the view and the hospitality we received, gave us a real sense of peace. What a beautiful stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a Christmas party at the rendezvous, and it was a great experience. The food was really delicious, and the staff were friendly, respectful, and helpful. The clean ballroom was ready for us, with good lighting and music equipment. I’d recommend the place for a party or event.

I was there for a business conference, and event coordinator Seynabou was outstanding. She made sure we had what we needed, the food was delicious, and she was available for our questions. The hotel restaurant serves fresh, amazing food. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. The lake views were amazing, with a stunning sunrise each morning. I’d highly recommend staying here.
