Ralph and Rocky made us feel right at home, and everyone we met was so friendly. We spent our time hiking, exploring, and eating at the pub, the Inn, and Babes in the Woods. It was a lovely break from phones and computers, surrounded by Galiano’s beautiful scenery. The cottage at Sticks & Stones was charming, well equipped, and comfortable, with a warm, cozy feel. There’s a wood burning stove for colder days, too. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return. Jamie & Nicky

Ralph and Rocky are great hosts. The cabin was cozy, with a comfy bed, full kitchen, living room, and all the things we needed.

There’s easy access to the water and a grocery store nearby. The cabin had everything set up well, including a barbecue, large cooktop, and fridge. Ralph and Rocky were great hosts, and the quiet spot among the trees was beautiful. We’ll definitely come back :)

Galiano Island is beautiful, though quite a few businesses were closed when we visited in November. The cottage was pleasant and generally comfortable, but the wood burning heater, while picturesque, made it very hot. The electric baseboard heaters weren’t adequate, and there was no fire extinguisher in the cottage. Cell service was nearly nonexistent, and the on site wifi was very weak.

We were so grateful to Rocky and Ralph for all their help. We came by bike, and Ralph met us near the ferry to take our loaded panniers back to the cottage so we wouldn’t have to ride around with them all day. After a long ride over many big hills, we got in late with no food and no delivery available on the island. Rocky drove me down to the Pub to pick up dinner, then brought us coffee the next morning. Truly wonderful people. The cottage is spectacular, and we’ll definitely return. Many thanks, Rocky and Ralph.
