The views through the floor-to-ceiling windows are lovely, and the TV is huge. The room itself was fine, though the furnishings are dated. We got a discounted rate, and I wouldn’t pay full price. There were plenty of towels, and I appreciated the mini fridge, but the small details were lacking: one-ply toilet paper, just two regular Nespresso coffee pods for a room that sleeps four, and only one luggage rack. Room service was the bigger issue. They asked how many people would be dining, and I said two, but brought cutlery for only one. We had to share a fork and knife. By the time we noticed, the delivery person was gone, and we wanted to eat while the food was hot. The food was decent, at least. It’s also quite a long indoor walk from the hotel to the casino, so bring comfortable shoes.

The hotel was nice and the staff were great, but the room was a problem. The old mattress squeaked whenever I moved. In the morning, before our early flight, there was no water in the tub or shower, so I had to wash up in the sink and rush out. I told the front desk, and they said someone would get back to us. We never heard a thing.

We call this our other home since it’s so close to our city. The lake views are beautiful, and the location is convenient for nearby facilities. Rooms are nice and clean, usually with a coffee machine, small fridge, and microwave. The staff are consistently friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Sunday brunch is delicious, with lots of choices, and room service is great too. There’s a spa, pool, and gym, plus a lovely relaxing area in the lobby for waiting or spending some time alone. Definitely recommend it.

The service is five-star, even though the hotel is listed as four-star. I’ve been a couple of times and, as a gold member, I’ve always been upgraded. The staff are always smiling and make sure you understand the hotel. On our last night, Monday, we left a pharmacy bag with a lot of things in it. The team at Hilton found it and shipped it with Purolator, and it arrived at my house the next day. What can I say except wow. Great job, Hilton. Lac Leamy hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed at.

I come here at least every other month, and the service and amenities are always great. On my latest stay on January 5th, Daphnee went above and beyond. She made my husband and me feel so special the night after our city hall wedding. Thank you so much for the hospitality, especially today. We’re already looking forward to coming back, even more than before. You’re all doing a great job ❤️❤️❤️
